Belarus Transit Visa

A transit visa to Belarus is required for transits through the territory of Belarus, i.e. going by train from Poland to Russia or vice versa. This is the most popular solution for travellers on the Trans-Siberian railway who start their journey in Western Europe and travel by train through Belarus to Russia.

Belarus transit visa is valid for only 48 hours. Transit visa cannot be obtained at the border.
 

Required documents

Original passport Passport must have at least 2 blank pages and be valid for at least 90 days after your intended departure from Belarus.

Medical insurance A valid medical insurance is required for all foreign citizens travelling to Belarus. Insurance cover must be at least €10.000 ($12.000) and must be valid in Belarus.
